I just got back from band camp the other day. I know what you may be thinking, but band camp is the shit lol. It's south of here in Whitewater and you meet a lot of cool people who love music also. The best thing about it is definately the people, especially my roomate Anna. I only see her once a year, but whenever we see eachother it feels like we've known been friends all of our lives. She's not comin back next year and lives in Illinois so I see a trip to six flags coming up...
One of the best memories was sittin outside around 10 making up lyrics to some awesome drummer dude playing the accoustic guitar and people like dancing and spinning around till they fall over. Sounds like a major trip lol.
Well about the audition I did well and got 1st chair in the top band. I ended up getting a full 375$ scholarship to next years camp!!!:) :) :) I made the jazz band, I was the only clarinet but it was cool because I got to do a 12 bar improv solo on the Bb concert blues scale. I dont' remember how I played but Scott, the best teacher ever said that "when you don't remember it then you know it was good". I think it was a bunch of random notes.
Well anyway its good to be back, fast food and esker food AHHHH doesn't do the body much good. Plus sleep is usually a good thing too lol.
I got my myso and uway chair audition music today. Gotta get to that as well.
